Tickets for our guided tour of the home and grounds are available online for quick, easy and secure booking as well as by phone at (843) 546-7891. You'll be able to view the hours we are open to the public and check your desired dates.
Tours are available Tuesday to Saturday on the hour 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Tickets are available for adults; seniors ages 65 and over; students ages 12 to 17; and children ages 6 to 11.
This is an all-inclusive package with luxury transportation from Downtown Charleston to Hopsewee and back, in a luxurious 11-passenger van. Experience the Historical Landmark House tour, lunch in the River Oak Cottage Tearoom, a presentation by Hopsewee’s Gullah historian or grounds tour with a Hopsewee historian, then conclude the experience with Wine by the River and free time to explore the original dwellings of the enslaved on the property.
Dining at River Oak Cottage is open to the public and available Tuesday-Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
From time to time we are closed for private events, which will always be reflected in the up-to-the-minute calendar you'll find on our online calendar. The Hopsewee Plantation season is February through mid-December. During late December and January, we are open to the public by appointment only.
Offered most Thursdays and Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Cost is $60 per person, including materials.
