The home and grounds at Hopsewee Plantation are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday. Guided tours happen on the hour from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm and begin at 11:00 on Saturdays. Dining is available River Oak Cottage Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.
The grounds at Hopsewee are a lovely place to stroll and view the slave cabins and the scenic Santee Delta.
If you don't have time for a tour or dining, we request a $7.50 grounds fee.
We are closed on Sundays and Mondays, and December through January.

Situated on the banks of the serene and sparkling North Santee River, Hopsewee Plantation is conveniently located midway between Charleston and Myrtle Beach on South Carolina's Highway 17.
Driving from Myrtle beach Hopsewee is 12 miles south of Georgetown, immediately before the North Santee River crossing on Highway 17. Driving from Charleston Hopsewee is 48 miles north of Charleston, immediately after the North Santee River crossing on Highway 17.
